Much Exciting News!

I have been waiting a long time to announce this, but yesterday I offically became the owner of Scrapmuse! I approached Traci Murphy lat in April when I learned that she was closing the site to spend more time with her family and she was happy to sell the business to me. I am so excited to be starting this new adventure. We have many exicting  things planned for the next few months including an on-line crop in August.

Our June kit is also now available in the store along with our Limited Edition Travel kit.

Scrapmuse May Preview Layout

Here is my layout that previewed on the Scrapmuse blog Yesterday.

 

I had the opportunity along with another DT member to take the first class of Jessica Sprague's new series Scrapbook Alchemy. It was a wonderful class. Look for my full review in the newsletter this month that will be out on May 15th. This layout is based on that class.

March Scrapmuse Projects

This month was a light month for me because of our new little boy, I finished three layout from the March kit and I have to say, I had a lot of fun with this one. Check out the gallery at Scrapmuse for more inspiration.

 

 

Scrapmuse Design Team Call!!!!

*** OPEN TO ALL US AND NON US RESIDENTS*****ScrapMuse is currently looking to find one or two new Design Team members to add to our team.We will announce the new designers once they have been contacted and have accepted their posts. The design team position is a commitment through October 15th.  Deadline for submission is March 15th!!BASIC REQUIRMENTS:We are looking for creative, energetic, outgoing, talented, versatile and self motivated individuals who are team players.

Interested applicants MUST REGISTER AND POST on the message boards at ScrapMuse during the DT call. Your Design Team experience at ScrapMuse will require that you be active on a daily basis on the message boards so we want to get to know you as well as let our members get to know you as well.

We will need you to submit 2 new (not previously posted or published) original 12 x 12 layouts or 8.5 X 11 size layouts that best represents your style.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:Our ScrapMuse Design Team members are exclusive to our team. If selected, you cannot hold a Design Team position for any other kit club or online scrapbooking retailer. Manufacturer design teams, blog challenge booards and teaching at your LSS are acceptable.* The main duty while a designer for ScrapMuse is to promote the ScrapMuse kit club whenever possible. This includes posting a link on your personal blog to ScrapMuse as well as photos of our latest kits and layouts you have created with our kit. Blogs must be kept current as much as possible as you are part of the marketing for the ScrapMuse club.

* Each DT member will be responsible for creating 5 layouts EACH month. This can be a combination of layouts, altered items, cards etc.

* Each DT member will be responsible for writing an article to go in the newsletter EACH month. Articles need to be at least 500 words in length.

* Consistent and frequent message board participation is required.

* Actively participate in challenges and organizing contests.

OUR DESIGNERS WILL RECEIVE……….

*A free Mega kit every month to design with.

* 20% off on all store purchases

*Free product for special class kits ( on occasion )

I used the foil for the cute as a button that is near the bottom of the photo. I love the little bit of sparkle that it adds to my layout. Check out the newletter later this month for more ideas and sample layouts using foil.
